Location
Santos Basin, 300 km off the coast of Brazil.

Project Owner/s
TotalEnergies operates the project with a 45% interest, in partnership with Shell (30%) and Repsol Sinopec (25%).

Project Description
Lapa South-West will be developed through three wells connected to the Lapa floating production storage and offloading operation 12 km away, and exploiting the North-East part of Lapa field.

The project will increase production from the Lapa field by 25 000 bbl/d of oil, bringing overall production to 60 000 bbl/d.

The project requires an investment of about $1-billion.

Planned Start/End Date
Production startup is expected in 2025.

TotalEnergies approved the final investment decision of the Lapa South-West oil in January 2023.
