Cross-border payment volume continues to increase year upon year. Meanwhile, the digital payments space continues to transform while customer demands raise new issues.

Previously unbanked populations are gaining access to modern financial tools and SMEs are seeking to expand to new markets sending payments to – often several - new countries and in new currencies.

The Borderless Payments Conference Southern Africa will be hosted on 23 & 24 October at the Indaba Hotel Fourways South Africa and will seek to address the harnessing of new payment flows, mass adoption of digital payments/currencies and highlighting the opportunities and challenges faced within the borderless payment landscape.

The growing availability of digital currencies, greater efficiencies, and the liquidity of on/off ramps have enabled easier interchanges into local fiat currencies and opened up greater accessibility.

While the growing number of channels now available for transferring value between digital and traditional finance, means there is no longer a need to rely solely on traditional banking systems.

Leading speakers and experts from the payment industry will be sharing their knowledge and insights in up to 18 individual tracks. A wide range of topic headings such as global impact of mobile money apps, uunification of payment infrastructure to enable cross-border, cross currency transactions and acceptance, aadvanced AI and digital currencies as the top disruptors in borderless payments, why electronic money institutions (EMIs) are the future of cross-border payments? will be addressed and much more ….

Delegates will leave with an in-depth understanding on how best to remain competitive and relevant within the payment industry while having an upper hand on how to anticipate changes and adapt accordingly trough the insights gained over the two days.

Who should attend?

Professionals from banks, financial services, fintechs, government and service providers dealing with the following

* interbank payments * exchange control * compliance & risk * cross border payments * money transfers  * channel management  * mobile payments  * clearing & settlements * regulation  * anti-money laundering * payment fraud  * sanctions  *  financial crime *  international payments  * cash management  *  transactional banking * trade support  * governance * foreign exchange  * global operations  *  global transactions * remittances * mobile money *  international banking * cross border e-commerce transactions * financial inclusion  * e-banking  * e-wallets * digital payments * data analytics * open banking *

We invite potential delegates to join us at the conference, so as to once again create the ideal platform for information and knowledge sharing. Involvement will create excellent networking opportunities for sponsors, exhibitors, delegates and speakers.
