JSE-listed tile retailer Italtile has announced it will move CFO Brandon Wood to the position of COO and appoint Lamar Booysen CFO. Both will remain executive directors on the board.

Italtile says the appointments align with the group’s long-standing succession plan and ongoing strategy to enhance depth of management in the business.

Wood worked as CFO from 2013 until 2018, after which he served as executive director for the company’s commercial and supply chain division, as well as the retail division. He was reappointed CFO in 2020.

As COO, Wood will now provide operational support to CEO Lance Foxcroft.

In turn, Booysen has been with Italtile since last year as a group finance executive, prior to which he held senior financial positions in the telecommunications industry. He has worked closely with Wood in the past year to ensure his smooth transition to CFO.
