A site between the Kloof and Driefontein mining operations, in Gauteng, South Africa, has been secured and permitted.

Sibanye-Stillwater is developing a 50 MW solar PV project.

Funded off balance sheet by third parties – no funding is required from Sibanye-Stillwater.

Commercial operation expected in the second half of 2024.

Latest Developments
The project has been delayed by land claims over the permitted site. Consequent to legal processes and an investigation, the issues have been resolved, and the project will now progress.
