Canada-focused Green Technology Metals (GT1) has announced the appointment of Cameron Henry as new MD.

Henry, a founder and substantial shareholder of GT1, will steer the company through its upcoming growth phase, focusing on the development of its North American lithium assets and the establishment of an integrated business.

His experience in managing and operating public companies in the mining sector is expected to be instrumental in navigating the company through its critical milestones.

“Our decision to appoint Cameron as managing director reflects our confidence in his experience and leadership abilities to guide the company through this critical phase,” stated GT1 nonexecutive chairperson John Young.

“As GT1 prepares for critical milestones in permitting, financing and project development this year, I am confident that under Cameron’s leadership, we will successfully advance the Seymour project and continue to build an integrated lithium business in Ontario.”

GT1’s primary assets in Ontario include high-grade, hard rock spodumene assets (Seymour, Root, Junior and Wisa) and lithium exploration claims (Allison, Falcon, Gathering, Pennock and Superb).
