CHINT sees reliable energy infrastructure as foundation for industrial growth
CHINT sales manager Dawie Reyneke speaks to Engineering News at the Africa Energy Forum in Cape Town about the role of reliable energy infrastructure in supporting industrial development, strengthening power networks and enabling Africa's energy transition. Camerawork and Editing: Miko Moodley.
Energy technology company CHINT believes reliable power infrastructure will be critical to supporting Africa's industrialisation ambitions.
CHINT sales manager Dawie Reyneke tells Engineering News at the Africa Energy Forum in Cape Town that energy is the foundation on which industries, businesses and economies grow.
Operating in more than 140 countries, CHINT provides solutions across the energy value chain, including power transmission and distribution equipment, substations, transformers, renewable energy technologies and energy storage systems.
The company has supplied equipment for major infrastructure projects across Africa, including grid-strengthening initiatives in Kenya, Botswana, Zambia and Malawi.
Reyneke said growing industrialisation, increasing renewable energy penetration and the need for more resilient electricity networks are driving demand for smart energy solutions capable of supporting long-term economic development across the continent.
