Project Description
The Sépia field has been producing oil through the Carioca floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit since 2021.
Phase 2, Sépia-2 (P-85), will comprise a newly built FPSO with a capacity of 225 000 bbl/d, and a processing capacity of ten-million cubic metres a day of gas.
The project has been designed to minimise greenhouse-gas emissions through an all-electric configuration and technologies such as waste heat recovery, closed flare, cargo oil-tank gas recovery and variable-speed drives for compressors and pumps.
