Shareholders prop up Volt with A$500 000 loan

Graphite producer and anode developer Volt Resources on Tuesday announced a funding agreement with three major shareholders for the provision of an aggregate loan of up to A$500 000.

The investors are Ven Capital, Peter and Elaine Notman and Dominic Virgara.

The funds would be used to advance its downstream activities, including progressing its high-purity graphite production strategy and sourcing funding for the Bunyu graphite project development, in Tanzania.

Bungu is a 400 000 t/y development that will produce 24 780 t/y of graphite projects.

Besides Bunyu, Volt has a 70% interest in the operating Zavalievsky graphite business in Ukraine.
