Exploration company Yandal Resources on Monday announced that Chris Oorschot had started in his role of MD and CEO.
He took over from Tim Kennedy, who will continue with the company as part-time executive director for the remainder of the year to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities.
The Yandal change of guard was first announced in a senior management succession plan in May.
