Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 5 MW mini hydropower plant at the Lake Mutirikwi reservoir.

The project will be completed in three phases.

The first phase involves the construction of access roads.

The second phase involves civils works, which entails the construction of a powerhouse and a penstock that will convey water to the powerhouse.

The final phase involves building a 33 kV, 25-km-long transmission line to the nearest Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (Zesa).
