Project Description
The cluster, with a combined capacity of 336 MW, comprises the Impofu East, Impofu West and Impofu North wind projects, which will encompass 57 turbines atop 120-m-high concrete towers.

The electricity will be produced under a wheeling framework agreement with Air Liquide Large Industries South Africa and Sasol, which are procuring the electricity to decarbonise the oxygen production facility at Secunda, which is the biggest in the world.

The project includes eight high-voltage substations and 120 km of 132 kV high-voltage overhead electricity lines.
