The grid-ready Hendrina Wind Farm will produce 210 MW, with Eskom grid capacity already allocated.

Over the first 20 years of operation, the project is expected to prevent the emission of an estimated 8.7-million tons of CO2.

Potential Job Creation
About 200 people are expected to be employed on site.

Capital Expenditure
The aim is to progress the project to financial close before December 1, 2024.

The project is in the final stages of securing a crucial grid-connection budget quote from Eskom, making it one of the few private wind projects to have achieved that milestone to date.

Planned Start/End Date
Construction of the wind farm is scheduled to start on December 1, 2024, with the goal of producing first power in May 2026 before ramping up to full production in November that same year.
