The Hanguk-Hoju Hydrogen (Han-Ho H2) consortium, involving three of Korea’s biggest conglomerate groups: Korea Zinc, Hanwha Impact and SK Gas, and Australian-based Ark Energy.

The consortium will advance the export-scale green hydrogen project from concept to feasibility, and has signed a heads of agreement to progress the project. The consortium will support the development of up to 4.5 GW at Ark Energy’s Collinsville Green Energy Hub.

Project Description
The project plans to build a green energy supply chain exporting up to 1.8-million tonnes of green ammonia a year from Australia to South Korea by 2030.
