Project Description
The project, with a total capacity of about 2.5 GW, consists of Baltica 2, with a capacity of about 1.5 GW and one-hundred-and-seven 14 MW wind turbines.

Once operational, the project will avoid more than 5.4-million tons of CO2 emissions a year, or the equivalent emissions from about 3.6-million diesel cars. It will also provide electricity for about 2.4-million homes in Poland. 

Baltica 3 will have a capacity of about 1 GW.

Capital Expenditure
The European Investment Bank (EIB) approved the in-principle financing of the Baltica project to €1.4-billion in August 2023.

Planned Start/End Date
Baltica 2 is scheduled to be commissioned in 2027 and Baltica 3 by the end of this decade.
