Albert Einstein said: "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

Now, who best to learn from than Liesl de Wet, an experienced climate reality leader and sustainability thinker with particular experience in the logistics sector in South Africa?

As Chairperson of the RFA’s Green Transport Working group, Liesl was part of a delegation that went to Europe to engage with industry experts and governments to better understand the role and future of hydrogen as an alternative fuel source for the transport industry. On this trip, they found out how in Germany, solar panels and wind turbines are the norm. South Africa has the highest solar radiation levels in the world, yet as a country, solar power is not leveraged as much as it should be.

To find out more about the options available for green transport, register now to attend the RFA Convention at https://rfa.co.za/SA/events/
