Engen has partnered with global transport and logistics firm DSV to offer courier services at 257 of its retail services stations across South Africa.

Parcel lockers are located at the station forecourts, to allow for a cost-effective, convenient and safe way for customers to send and receive parcels. The courier and packaging solution is suited to a wide range of customers, including small home businesses, students, residents, banks and retailers.

Packaging is priced according to parcel size and can be purchased from participating Engen Quickshops. The waybill can be completed onsite and the customer then follows the prompts at the smart locker and places the parcel securely inside the locker.  Customers can also track parcels online, from the locket to delivery. Delivery options include physical address-to-locker, and locker-to-physical address delivery services, anywhere in South Africa.

“Some exciting plans lie ahead, including our new Locker-to-Locker service currently being piloted at 10 of our sites, which enables customers to send a parcel from one locker to another locker.  Recipients can collect the parcel at their convenience from a locker, rather than from a home or office delivery,” explains Engen acting GM: retail Enoch Hermanus

The Engen 1app can be used to find the nearest participating service station.
