Zimbabweans celebrated wildly after President Robert Mugabe resigned on November 21, after 37 years in power. There is little question that his departure offers a genuine opportunity to rebuild a country and an economy that still hold so much promise, not least because of the education and skills levels of its citizens. However, it’s now up to the current leadership to ensure that this opportunity is not squandered.
