Cement volumes rise 15.6% in Q1

8th July 2015 Data released by cement producer PPC on Wednesday showed a 15.6% surge in South Africa’s year-on-year domestic cement sales to 2.87-million tonnes during the first quarter of 2015. Sales were, however, lower than the 3.16-million tonnes recorded in the fourth quarter of 2014.
