Seals and gaskets manufacturer and trader Novus Sealing South Africa says it is experiencing success across South Africa’s chemicals, petrochemicals and oil and gas industries.
The Brakpan-based company says it has been awarded a gasket and hydraulic bolt work contract by one of the country’s biggest petrochemicals companies.
Further, it recently introduced a new product offering that will enable it to deliver precut slotted shims for professional and levelling tasks on pumps and motors.
Also, the company reports that it is investing in another Aristo knife cutter with an extended bed size of 2 m × 3.2 m.
Recently, Novus announced it will be offering accredited training courses, following the procurement of a state-of-the-art training rig.
In line with safety measures, the company has been awarded the South African distribution agreement for the Fingersaver tool range. Novus says the range removes the high risk of injury to hands and fingers by keeping them out of harm’s way when using hammers and impact wrenches.
The Fingersaver tool range is also used by Novus’ technicians.
