Researched and tested dust-extraction, filtration, ventilation and waste-transfer techniques that enable companies to effectively combat the pollution caused by operating processes are now available to South African companies, owing to a partnership between local engineering, pumping and filtration company EPF Systems and French ventilation and air conditioning company Delta Neu.
The technologies will be available through EPF Systems, which is Delta Neu’s distribution partner in the country. The company aims to help its customers protect their external and internal environments by preventing the airborne spread of dust and noxious vapours, also protecting personnel from harmful fumes.
EPF’s approach is to design a specific solution for each customer, which is approved by the latter, where appropriate, using a testing station. By understanding and mastering all the processes for using air and improving its quality, EPF offers its customers the opportunity to eliminate all dust, waste, shavings, excessive heat, fumes and odours from their offices, warehouses and workshops. The end result is increased employee productivity and a decreased level of absenteeism.
EPF is an effective sustainable-development partner for companies, as it improves their productivity and limits their environmental impact.
Meanwhile, Delta Neu services companies in a vast array of sectors, which are all faced with the problem of accelerated wear on machines and production equipment, excessive temperatures and the need to eliminate pollution or waste from their premises or immediate surroundings.
The company’s solutions are, therefore, applied in sectors such as aviation, rail, automotive, nuclear power, rubber, mining, food processing, printing and retail.
Delta Neu is also expanding internationally, particularly in central and eastern Europe, Africa and China. The group operates in 70 countries and has representatives in 40 countries, including EPF Systems in Southern Africa.
