Power tools manufacturer Makita has produced a new jigsaw, which has been developed to cover the midrange- capacity segment and provides contractors and woodworkers with a compact, powerful model that provides less vibration.
The powerful 650 W JV0600K top handle jigsaw has a compact and lightweight design and has been engineered to achieve accurate cuts in a variety of materials, 90 mm in wood and 10 mm in steel, with variable-speed control consisting of 500 to 3 100 strokes a minute to match speed to application.
The three orbital settings provide optimum cutting action in wood and can be selected by turning the lever.
The internal counterbalance system has reduced vibration and the ergonomic handle minimises hand fatigue, provides a comfortable grip and more control, while the ribbed rubber grip enables all fingertips to hold the handle securely.
The two-finger trigger switch also increases operator comfort. The rigid aluminium base bevels 0º to 45º left and right.
Additional features include a convenient toolless blade change. The blade can be attached and removed with a single action and dust management can be controlled with the through-the- body dust port to which a vacuum can be attached.
