Audi appoints Mulalo Makungo as national sales operations manager

Audi South Africa has appointed Mulalo Makungo as its new national sales operations manager.

Makungo brings with her more than ten years’ experience in the automotive industry.

She has worked within the Barloworld and McCarthy groups at head office level and across various other brands in the automotive sector, including BMW, General Motors, Burchmores and Traders Online. 

More recently, Makungo held the position of Volkswagen brand business manager.

Makungo has completed an International Management Development Programme through the Volkswagen group as part of her professional training.

She also holds a BCom degree in financial accounting from the University of Cape Town, and is a qualified chartered accountant. 

Makungo was born and raised in Johannesburg and is a mother of three.

In her new role and reporting directly to the head of retail and planning at Audi South Africa, she assumes responsibility for all sales operational topics, as well as the rental, government and fleet sales portfolios.
